Large ground dwelling Katydid species from Costa Rica. They are body heavy coming in at around 60-70mm in length and are deceptively fast as large nymphs/subadults. Highly unsual and attractive species however which is easy to rear.

Care Instruction

The hatchling nymphs are very good at squeezing themselves into very tight crevices inside the rim/doors of tanks and are prone to escape.

Feeding

This species requires access to fresh fruit/vegatables such as carrot, apple, courgette alongside thier leaf diet. They should also have access to fish flake. Sprikle a small pinch weekly over the substrate or provide in a small bowl for larger colonies.
