I currently offer both U.K. and European delivery via royal mail and parcel force courier. All livestock is sent via Royal Mails Next Day Special Delivery service for the U.K. and International Signed For Delivery via Airmail in Europe.
Aside from orders containing livestock its entirely up to you which service I use for your order and all postage options will be made available to you with thier respective prices during checkout.

I think its important to be completely transparent about what youre paying for when it comes to postage prices, which is why this is here. To break down exactly what youre paying for when it comes to paying postage on any order.

There are three elements to the postage costs quoted on all my orders, which when added together gives you the total cost.

The first is the postage cost itself. - see details

This is what Royal Mail / Parcelforce or whichever company that postage option is given by charge me to send your order. I try to keep this as up to date as possible with thier respective price lists, and is (to my current knowledge at the time of updating) the exact price I pay to send via that service.

The second part is the packing costs. - see details

Unfortunatly when it comes to delicate live things appropriate packaging is needed, although I do my best to recycle what I can most orders require tubs, packing beans and cardboard packing to assure live arrival. The Packing cost of every order I average out at £1.

The last part is season dependant shipping warmers. - see details

In the winter months I only ship livestock with a shipping warmer. This is to guarentee live arrival so youre not disapointed when your package turns up. Shipping warmers are priced on two bands, UK shipping warmers (30h) cost £1.35, and European (72h) are £2. This is currently exactly what they cost me - if I can source them cheaper in future so the price will drop.

Hopefully thats given you some understanding of what your postage pays for, I dont make a penny out of what I charge you in postage, and I never intend to.
